The students will collect a variety of used postage stamps .The
students will sort the stamps by size, color and pictures (people, places and
things) |

Activities: |
The students will have collected used postage stamps before class. Then
the students will sort the stamps in various ways (size, shape, color,
pictures) |

Materials Needed: |
Used postage stamps |

Assessment: |
The teacher will observe the students while they are working at their
center. Questions as to why they
sorted the stamps a certain way may be asked. |
