Objectives: |
The students will listen to the teacher’s directions and will use the
Kid Pix program to draw a doctor.
They will use the different drawing tools and may also use the
stampers. |

Anticipatory Set: |
Today we will be talking about
a different community helper, the mail carrier. Ask the children what they
think a mail carrier does to help our community. Then read “The Jolly Postman” by Janet and Allan
Ahlberg and discuss the story. Explain to the children the activities
that they will be doing at the various centers this week. |

Activities: |
The children will learn about the different tools on Kid Pix and will
create their own mail carrier picture. |
|
Materials Needed: |
Computer, Kid Pix program The Jolly Postman by Janet and Allan Ahlberg |

Assessment: |
I will observe the students at the computer center. I will assist the students if they are
having any difficulties or questions. |
