Objectives: |
The students will count out tongue depressors into 20 groups of 5 or 10
groups of 10. |

Activity: |
The students will count a group of 5 or 10 tongue depressors and put a
rubber band around each set. They are
to make a group of 100 by counting by 5’s or by 10’s. |

Materials Needed: |
Tongue depressors, rubber bands |

Assessment: |
Assessment will be done at the completion of the project. The students will verbally count to l00 by
using the sets. |

Children may group other doctor objects, (cotton balls, etc.) They may
also do different groups. |
