Objectives: |
The students will pretend to be a doctor and have a pretend doctor’s
office. |
Activities: |
Transform your dramatic play area into a medical center. Decorate the walls with posters donated by
a local doctor office. Provide a
white button up shirt or scrubs, surgery hats, masks, gloves for the students
to dress up. Also have a doctor’s kit
with stethoscopes, thermometers, pillow, cot, reflex hammer, pretend IV ,
bandaids, wrap-style bandages, tongue depressors, syringes and cotton balls for the children to
use, You may also have a clipboard,
pencils, and pads of paper for filling out forms and writing prescriptions. |

Assessment: |
The teacher will observe the students while they are acting out the
doctor roles. I will observe to see
if they are sharing and doing what they are supposed to at the center. |
